Abstract
CILJEVI ISTRAŽIVANJA: Cilj ovog istraživanja je bio usporediti rezultate mjerenja tjelesne temperature mjerena uzastopno sa tri jeftinija digitalna termometra različitih proizvođača. USTROJ STUDIJE: Istraživanje je provedeno kao presječna studija. MATERIJAL I METODE: Ispitanici su bili anonimne osobe različite dobi i oba spola. Ispitano je ukupno 51 osoba. Mjerenja su međusobno uspoređena Passing-Bablok regresijom te Spearmanovim testom korelacije. Temperatura se mjerila s tri različita digitalna termometra, nasumičnim redosljedom ispitanicima ispod pazuha lijeve ruke. Mjerenje je izvršeno u sličnom vremenskom razdoblju, tj. mjerenje temperature nasumičnim redosljedom svakim termometrom neposredno jednim za drugim. REZULTATI: Analizom dobivenih vrijednosti nisu uočena značajna odstupanja u mjerenju tri termometra. ZAKLJUČAK: Ne postoje značajna odstupanja u mjerenjima između sva tri termometra. Drugim riječima, oni su vrlo dobro usklađeni. Uočena su vrlo mala odstupanja prva dva termometra u odnosu s trećim termometrom.
Abstract (english)
OBJECTIVES: The objective of this study was to compare the results of body temperature measurements measured consecutively with three cheaper digital thermometers from different manufacturers. STUDY DESIGN: The study was conducted as a cross-sectional study. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The test subjects were annonymous individuals who are different age and both genders. Altogether 51 People were tested. The measurements are juxtaposed with Passing-Bablok regression and Spearman's test of correlation. The temperature was measured with three different digital thermometers on test subjects in random order. The temperature was measured under the left armpit. The measurement took place in a short period of time. i.e. The temperature measurement occured in random order with every digital thermometer, each being immediately placed under the armpit after the previous thermometer. RESULTS: The analysis of the obtained values did not reveal significant deviations in the measurement of the three thermometers. CONCLUSION: There are no significant deviations in measurements between all three thermometers. In other words, they are very well aligned. Very small deviations of the first two thermometers were observed compared to the third thermometer.
