Abstract
Cilj istraživanja: Osnovni ciljevi istraživanja bili su ispitati incidenciju hiperlipoproteinemije u postmenopauzalnih žena, te utvrditi razlike u lipidnom profilu s obzirom na dob, trajanje menopauze i indeks tjelesne mase. Nacrt studije: Istraživanje je ustrojeno kao presječna studija s povijesnim podatcima. Ispitanici i metode: Za istraživanje su se koristili podatci iz dokumentacije koji su prikupljeni u ambulantama primarne zdravstvene zaštite u Domu zdravlja u Osijeku od studenog 2021. do ožujka 2022. godine; nije bilo isključnih faktora. Podatci su prikupljeni redovitim kontrolama. Prikupljeni su demografski podatci, podatci o trajanju menopauze, tjelesnoj masi, tjelesnoj visini, indeksu tjelesne mase, vrijednostima lipoproteina i pridruženim komorbiditetima. Rezultati: U ovom istraživanju prikupljeni su podatci o 98 postmenopauzalnih žena. Rezultati su pokazali da preko 50 % ispitanica ima povišene vrijednosti ukupnog i LDL kolesterola, a 39,8 % ispitanica povišene vrijednosti triglicerida. Značajno više vrijednosti ukupnog i LDL kolesterola imale su ispitanice u dobnoj skupini 45 – 64 godine. Lošije vrijednosti lipidnog profila imale su ispitanice s trajanjem menopauze 10 i više godina. Nema značajnih razlika u vrijednostima lipidnog profila s obzirom na indeks tjelesne mase. Čak 65 % ispitanica ima procijenjen vrlo visok kardiovaskularni rizik, a samo 6 % ispitanica postiglo je ciljne vrijednosti LDL kolesterola u skladu s vlastitim kardiovaskularnim rizikom. Zaključak: Temeljem rezultata možemo zaključiti da je visoka incidencija hiperlipoproteinemije u postmenopauzalnih žena. Trajanje menopauze 10 i više godina ima utjecaja na lošije postizanje ciljnih vrijednosti lipidnog profila, no indeks tjelesne mase nema utjecaja na postizanje ciljnih vrijednosti.
Abstract (english)
Objectives: Two main aims of this study were to examine the incidence of hyperlipoproteinemia in postmenopausal women, and to examine differences in lipid profiles of postmenopausal women considering their age, duration of menopause and body mass index. Study design: This is a cross-sectional study. Material and methods: For this research, data from documentation collected in primary health care clinics at the Health Centre in Osijek was used. There were no exclusive factors. Data were collected through regular controls. Demographic data, data on menopausal duration, body weight, body height, body mass index, lipoprotein values and associated comorbidities, if any, were collected. Results: Data from 98 postmenopausal women were collected in this study. The results showed that over 50 % of the subjects had elevated values of total and LDL cholesterol, and 39,8 % of the subjects had elevated triglycerides. Subjects in the age group 45-64 had significantly higher values of total and LDL cholesterol. Subjects with a duration of menopause of 10 years or more had poorer lipid profile values. There are no significant differences in lipid profile values with respect to body mass index. 65 % of the respondents have an estimated very high cardiovascular risk, and only 6 % of the respondents achieved the target values of LDL cholesterol in accordance with their own cardiovascular risk. Conclusion: Based on the results, we can conclude that there is a high incidence of hyperlipoproteinemia in postmenopausal women. The duration of menopause for 10 or more years has an impact on the poorer achievement of the target values of the lipid profile, but the body mass index has no effect on the achievement of the same target values.
