Objectives: To investigate the socio-demographic characteristics of the employees of the community nurse service. To examine their attitudes and practices in the COVID-19 pandemic. Examine practices and attitudes related to vaccination. Assess whether there is a relationship between the observed variables. Study Design: Cross-sectional study. Patients and Methods: The study included employees of the patrol service in four counties of Eastern Croatia who were in continuous employment from February 25, 2020 to August 23rd, 2022. The research was conducted using an anonymous questionnaire in the form of a Google form, consisting of 50 questions. 93 respondents met the criteria. Results: The conducted research determined that the employees of the community nurse service believe that the newly occured situation related to the COVID-19 infection did not affect the scope and quality of the performance of the activities of the community nurse service in Croatia and that the state is successful in containing the spread of the infection. Among the respondents who completely filled out the questionnaire, female respondents predominated, the majority of respondents were employed in the Osječko-baranjska županija at the time of filling out the questionnaire, and they most often carried out their activities in a smaller town, while the median length of service was 14 years. Statistical significance has been proven between the differences in attitudes and behavior with regard to the basic characteristics of the respondents. Conclusion: The health care workers employed in the health centers of four counties of Eastern Croatia who participated in the research carried out the health care services according to the highest possible standards, following official guidelines and instructions and maintaining the quality of care for residents as it was before the pandemic began. Most respondents agree that the scope of work was increased and that the level of stress was significantly increased during work, however most respondents also agree that the vaccine and personal protective equipment are the solution to prevent the spread of infection.
