Abstract | Naslov istraživanja: Prevalencija obiteljske hiperkolesterolemije u bolesnika sa
preuranjenom bolesti koronarnih arterija
(koncentracija
ukupnog kolesterola, HDL i LDL-kolesterola, triglicerida, te ostale relevantne anamnestičke
podatke), obraditi iste podatke te uporabom adekvatnog sustava bodovanja – DLCN SCORE,
procijeniti prevalenciju obiteljske hiperkolesterolemije u ispitanika.
Nacrt studije: Presječno istraživanje s povijesnim podacima.
Ispitanici i metode: U istraživanje su uključeni bolesnici oba spola s postojećim lipidnim
profilom.
postojanje kardiovaskularnih komplikacija (periferna vaskularna bolest, anamneza moždanih
Abstract (english) | Title of Research : Prevalence of familial hypercholesterolemia in patients with premature
coronary arteries disease
Aim of research: Review and collect the relevant hystorical medical data for both male and
female patients who were hospitalized in Department of Cardiology and Vascular Diseases,
Internal Medicine Clinic, University Hopsital Centre Osijek, during the period from
01.01.2021. to 31.12.2021. due to premature coronary arteries disease in order to asses the
prevalence of familial hypercholesterolemia among these patients using DLCN SCORE.
Study design: Retrospective research of hystorical data
Study participans and methods: Research included 107 participans of both sexes, 87 male
and 20 female patients. From hospital electornic data system following relevant medical data
for patients with premature coronary artery disease males (males <55 years, females < 60
years) were collected: age, sex, lipid profiles, cardiovascular risk factors (arterial
hypertension, diabetes mellitus type 2, smoking), data regarding egzistence of cardiovascular
complications (history of peripheral arterial disease and stroke), concomitant medication,
esspecially hypolipemic therapy.
Results: DLCNS lower than 6 had 83 male patients and 18 female patients, in total 101
patients (94.4%), and DLCNS more than 6 or equal had 4 male patients and 2 female patients,
in total 6 patients (5,6%).
Conclusion: The prevalence of familial hypercholesterolemia among patients hospitalized for
premature coronary arteries disease (CAD) in Department of Cardiology and Vascular
Diseases, Internal Medicine Clinic, University Hopsital Centre Osijek, during the period from
01.01.2021. to 31.12.2021. was 5.6%. |
