Abstract
Cilj istraživanja. Utvrditi učestalost i karakteristike arterijske hipertenzije kod bolesnika s akutnim moždanim udarom te povezanost arterijske hipertenzije s različitim podtipovima moždanog udara. Nacrt studije. Studija je bila presječna studija, podjela bolesnika po TOAST, MKB-10 i Oxford klasifikaciji prema nalazu medicinske dokumentacije (povijesti bolesti). Ispitanici i metode. Istraživanje je obuhvatilo 120 pacijenata liječenih od akutnog moždanog udara (ishemijski, hemoragijski) na Klinici za neurologiju KBC-a Osijek tijekom 2016. godine. Pročavali su se parametri koji se odnose na spol i dob ispitanika, je li u bolesnika s moždanim udarom arterijska hipertenzija prisutna prije nastupa moždanog udara, je li liječena ili neliječena te radi li se o novootkrivenoj ili stresnoj hipertenziji zbog samog moždanog udara. Rezultati. Istraživanje je provedeno na 120 bolesnika s akutnim moždanim udarom od kojih je nešto manje muškaraca, njih 53 (44,2 %) u odnosu na 67 (55,8 %) žena. Arterijska hipertenzija prije nastupa moždanog udara bila je prisutna kod značajne većine bolesnika (hi-kvadrat test, P < 0,001), te je također i tijekom nastupa same bolesti odnosno hospitalizacije bila prisutna kod značajne većine (hi-kvadrat test, P < 0,001). Prema rezultatima analize nije pronađena značajna povezanost arterijske hipertenzije, one koja jeste ili nije liječena te je li bila od ranije ili stresna, s različitim podtipovima moždanog udara. Zaključak. Arterijska hipertenzija prije nastupa moždanog udara i za vrijeme nastupa moždanog udara bila je prisutna kod značajne većine bolesnika. Prema rezultatima analize nije pronađena značajna povezanost arterijske hipertenzije s različitim podtipovima moždanog udara.
Abstract (english)
Study goal. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency and characteristics of arterial hypertension in patients with acute stroke and the correlation of arterial hypertension with different subtypes of stroke. Study design. The study is designes as s cross-sectional study and patient division by TOAST, MKB-10, and Oxford classification according to available medical records. Methods and participants. The study included 120 patients with acute stroke (ischemic, hemorrhagic) at the Clinic of Neurology, Clinical Hospital Center Osijek during 2016. Parameters related to sex and age have been analysed, the presence of hypertension before stroke, wheather the hypertension was treated or untreated prior to the stroke and whether it was newly discovered or stressed hypertension due to the stroke. Results. The study was conducted on 120 acute stroke patients, of which 53 (44.2%) were male and 67 (55.8%) female. Arterial hypertension before stroke was present in most patients (Chi squared test, P<0.001). Furthermore during the occurrence of the disease or hospitalization it was present in a significant majority (Chi squared test, P<0.001). According to the results, significant association was not found between arterial hypertension, treated or untreated hypertension, the one previously present hypoertension or stress related and different stroke subtypes. Conclusion. Arterial hypertension before stroke and during stroke was present in the majority of patients. Significant association of arterial hypertension with different stroke subtypes was not found.
