Abstract | Cilj je istraživanja ispitati profesionalno samopoimanje medicinskih sestara, ispitati postoji li razlika u samopoimanju u odnosu na radno iskustvo te postoji li povezanost duljine radnog staža i profesionalnog samopoimanja medicinskih sestara. Nacrt studije Istraživanje je ustrojeno kao presječna studija. Ispitanici i metode Ispitanici su medicinske sestre/tehničari KBC-a Osijek, njih 135, koji rade u Klinici za kirurgiju, Klinici za neurologiju i Zavodu za dermatovenerologiju. Istraživanje je provedeno u razdoblju od rujna do prosinca 2016. U istraživanju je korištena anonimna anketa za procjenu profesionalnog samopoimanja prema Likertovoj ljestvici. Promatrane subskale su: vodstvo, fleksibilnost, vještine, zadovoljstvo, komunikacija. Rezultati Najveće slaganje je s tvrdnjama vezanim uz fleksibilnost, uz domenu vještine. Domena vodstvo ima srednju vrijednost, značajno je veće slaganje ispitanika u domeni vodstva koji su stari 50 i više godina, odnosno značajno je niže slaganje ispitanika mlađe dobi. U ostalim domenama skale, kao ni u ukupnoj skali, nema značajnih razlika prema dobi. Nema značajnih razlika u slaganju s tvrdnjama u cijeloj skali ili pojedinim domenama prema duljini radnog staža. Dob i duljina radnog staža slabo su, ali značajno povezani s cijelom skalom poimanja kod zanimanja medicinska sestra/tehničar. Slabija je, ali značajna povezanost dobi s fleksibilnosti, vodstvom i vještinama. Duljina radnog staža veću povezanost ima s vještinama. Ispitanici koji su veću ocjenu dali fleksibilnosti značajno su veću ocjenu dali vještinama i vodstvu. Vodstvo je značajno povezano s vještinama, a sa zadovoljstvom je veza slabija, ali značajna. Zaključak Na osnovi istraživanja možemo zaključiti da nema statistički značajne razlike u ukupnoj skali prema dobi ni prema duljini radnog staža, nadalje da u domeni vodstva značajno je veće slaganje kod ispitanika u dobi 50 i više godina, te da postoji značajna, ali slaba povezanost dobi i duljine radnog staža s ukupnom skalom. |
Abstract (english) | The purpose of the study is to examine the degree of professional self-concept of nurses, to examine if there is a difference in self-concept in relation to work experience and to examine if there is a relationship between the length of work experience and professional self-concept of nurses. Scheme of study Research is established as cross-sectional study. Participants and methods The participants in the study were 135 nurses/ medical technicians of KBC Osijek, who work in Surgical Clinic, Neurology Clinic and Institute for dermatovenerology . The research was conducted from September to December 2016. For purpose of the study anonymous questionnaire was used in order to determine professional self-concept based on Likert scale. The observed subscales were leadership, flexibility, skills, pleasure, and communication. Results The results show the highest agreement with statements in relation to flexibility with skills domain. Leadership domain has an average value. There is a significantly higher agreement of participants, in leadership domain, who are more than 50 years old. In other scale domains, as well as total scale there are no statistically significant differences concerning age. There are no statistically significant differences in agreements with statements of total scale in relation to length of work experience. Age and length of work experience are weakly but significantly related to total scale of self-concept of nurses/technicians. There is a weak but significant relationship between age and flexibility, leadership and skills. A strong relationship is between the length of work experience and skills. Participants who gave higher grade to flexibility gave also significantly high grade to skills and leadership. A significant relationship is between leadership and skills. There is a weak but significant relationship between leadership and pleasure. Conclusion In conclusion, there is no statistically significant difference of total scale in relation to age or length of work experience. There is a significantly higher agreement of participants, in leadership domain, who are more than 50 years old. There is a weak but significant relationship between age and work experience. |
